St .Clair County has some hot real estate investment opportunities for $100,000 or less.

Let’s take a look at three affordable homes to start investing in the region.

Given our many towns’ proximity to the waterfront, there are many options like this condo on Lake Huron, perfect for someone looking to downsize while taking in some amazing views–and amenities. With its large, mature trees, pretty landscaping, deck, and big yard, this recently listed home in St. Clair seems ideal for a family that likes to spend its summer nights and weekends outside. And talk about families: This home is equidistant between two elementary schools. Not too far from downtown St. Clair but just far enough to stretch out a bit.

440 Louis Avenue (Marine City): $100,000
While it comes up as Marine City, this five-bedroom bungalow is technically in Cottrellville Township. So while that may place a buyer a little farther from trendy downtown Marine City, it does place them smack dab on the St. Clair River. What’s more, this house comes with private beach privileges to Cherry Beach. Unless the buyer is a wood paneling aficionado, an update may be in order. But for the price, it’s probably worth it. Just a few minutes walk to Foxfire Fixin’s.
